Predicting the Vulnerability of New Jersey Communities to Opiate Overdoses Using People, Places & Things: A Spatial Risk Modeling Approach

Abstract

The opiate crisis has directly affected many communities in New Jersey. This talk will introduce a recently started research project to develop a spatial risk model to assess how vulnerable New Jersey communities are to opiate overdoses as a function of the built environment, socio-demographic factors and integration of other data sources.
